This qualified generic field specifies:

Statement number; the sequential number of the statement. |
USAGE RULESFormat Option J is only to be used in a DELTA statement (22F::CODE//DELT).
If the statement has multiple pages, the Statement Number should remain the same through all the pages. It is a unique reference to the Statement.
Two statements of the same type sent one after the other to the same Receiver in relation to the same Safekeeping Account should have different Statement Numbers. Eg, a daily statement sent on day 1 would have statement number 13A::STAT//001, on day 2, :13A::STAT//002...
