DEFINITION

This qualified generic field specifies:

FICL	Final Closing Balance	Sum of the opening balance and all entries booked to the account at the close of the statement period.
FICL	Final Closing Balance	This is the closing balance of the statement (may consist of several pages).
FIOP	First Opening Balance	This is the opening balance of the statement (may consist of several pages).
INCL	Intermediary Closing Balance	Closing balance of this page only. Must be the intermediary opening balance of the next page (part of the same statement).
INOP	Intermediary Opening Balance	Opening balance of this page only. Must be the intermediary closing balance of the previous page (part of the same statement).

NETWORK VALIDATED RULES

The integer part of Balance must contain at least one digit. A decimal comma is mandatory and is included in the maximum length (Error code(s): T40, T43).

When Sign is present, Balance must not be zero (Error code(s): T14).

USAGE RULES

Sign must be present when Balance is negative.
