DEFINITION

This qualified generic field specifies:

BOLQ Back End Odd Lot Quantity The back end odd lot quantity represents the presence of a back end odd lot provision and the quantity of shares required after pro-ration to be eligible for this privilege. If after pro-ration, the amount of shares held is equal to or less than the back end odd lot quantity, payment will be made on the full tendered position.
MIEX Minimum Exercisable Quantity Minimum quantity or lot of rights/warrants that must be exercised in the context of this corporate action event.
MILT Minimum Exercisable Multiple Quantity Minimum multiple quantity or lot of rights/warrants that must be exercised in the context of this corporate action event.
NBLT New Board Lot Quantity The number of shares which make up the new board lot.
NEWD New Denomination Quantity New Denomination of the equity following, eg, an increase or decrease in nominal value.
NEWD New Denomination Quantity The new denomination of the shares following, for example, a partial redemption by reduction of nominal value.
QTSO Quantity Sought The number of shares or bonds the offeror will purchase under the terms of the offer. This can be a number or the term "any and all".
FOLQ Front End Odd Lot Quantity The front end odd lot or odd lot preference indicates that if an offer is pro-rated holders of odd lots who tender their full position will not have their tendered position pro-rated but rather accepted in full. In the case of an odd lot offer the field represents the amount of shares considered to be an odd lot.

Quantity Type Code must contain one of the following codes (Error code(s): K36):

AMOR Amortised Value Quantity represents the current amortised face amount of a bond, eg, a periodic reduction of a bond's principal amount.
FAMT Face Amount Quantity expressed as the face amount of the principal of a debt instrument.
UNIT Unit Quantity expressed as a number, eg, a number of shares.

CODES

Quantity Code must contain one of the following codes (Error code(s): K36):

QALL All Securities The CA option selected applies to all securities.

NETWORK VALIDATED RULES

The integer part of Quantity must contain at least one digit. A decimal comma is mandatory and is included in the maximum length (Error code(s): T40, T43).

USAGE RULES

MIEX and MILT in the squence D or E are different from the MIEX or MILT used in the financial instrument attributes (sequence B1) as they give indication on quantity of financial isntrument in the precise context of the described corporate actions for a given account servicer. In sequence B1, the quantity given are the quantity pertaining to the financial instrument in general, not specifics to the corporate action processing
