DEFINITION

This qualified generic field specifies:

RELA	Reference of the linked message which was previously received.
PREV	Reference of the linked message which was previously sent.
MAST	Unique and unambiguous identifier used to link a group of individual transactions together.
MAST	Master reference which identifies the link between allocations.
BASK	Basket reference which identifies a basket.
INDX	Index reference which identifies an index trade.
LIST	List reference which identifies a list trade.
PROG	Program reference which identifies a program trade.
TRRF	Reference assigned to the trade by the Investment Manager OR the Broker/Dealer. This reference will be used throughout the trade life cycle to access/update the trade details.
COMM	Unique referencce agreed upon by the two trade counterparties to identify the trade.
COMM	Unique reference agreed upon by the Investment Manager AND the Broker/Dealer to identify the trade. This reference should be passed down and up the whole life cycle of the transaction.
COLR	Reference assigned to identifying a collateral transaction linked to the settlement transaction.
ISSU	Reference that an issuer attributes to a fund (funds industry).
BMRB	Reference of the linked message at the Trade/Block Level which identifies a centrally matched transaction.
ALMR	Reference of the linked message at the Detail/Allocation Level which identifies a centrally matched transaction.

NETWORK VALIDATED RULES

Reference must not start or end with a slash '/' and not contain two consecutive slashes '//' (Error code(s): T26).
